Remanufactured Cartridges versus Refilled Cartridges The difference is huge First of all, cartridges that are ONLY refilled are refered to in the industry as "drill and fill" cartridges. This unflattering term describes what is typically done. That is, the cartridge is drilled, filled with toner and then the hole which was drilled is plugged. You might be thinking "what's wrong with that?". The problem with it is that inside that cartridge are parts that are built to last just a certain length of time, very little longer than the toner in the cartridge is expected to last - the manufacturer is not going to put in more expensive parts which last longer than the amount of toner. These parts are things such as drums, wiper blades, doctor blades, sealing foams, mag rollers and more. Things that you, the end user, are unfamiliar with. That is, until they fail and render your cartridge useless. If your cartridge is only refilled, and these important parts are not replaced, then it is highly likely that these parts will fail leaving you with a cartridge that is not suitable for use. Failure can be anything from printing not looking as crisp or as sharp as the original cartridge, to vertical or horizontal streaks, spots and/or smudges, extremely light printing and a variety of other problems. If the seals in the cartridge have failed toner can even leak into your printer/copier which can result in needing to have your machine cleaned and serviced. With our process your remanufactured cartridge has had all of the internal components replaced. So you get not only a cartridge that has been filled to capacity with hight quality toner but it also has a new high quality drum, new wiper and doctor blades, new foams that seal the cartridge, etc. As a result, your cartridge is like new with the exception of the plastic shell of the cartridge, everything else has been replaced. Now you no longer need be concerned about anything in the cartridge failing, it is all new! A refilled/recharged cartridge CANNOT measure up to the quality you get from a remanufactured cartridge. There is a marked difference between the 2 processes. Don't be deceived, there are those that claim to remanufacture but are, in fact, only refilling cartridges. If you have purchased cartridges in the past that were never satisfactory then you were probably only getting refilled/recharged cartridges. Know what you are buying. Don't settle for less any longer, contact us and get cartridges that are FULLY remanufactured. We offer an excellent product at a good price, we save you money but not at the expense of a good product. We are not the "low ball" price on the market. That is because we don't cut corners, we offer you a fully remanufactured product. We don't have a problem if some others have a lower price, they know what they are worth. |
